Shelley graduated from the Okanagan Valley of Massage Therapy in Vernon, B.C. In 2014. She has continued her post-graduate work in postural alignment, trigger point therapy, temporomandibular joint(TMJ) dysfunction, and the most recent -Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization(IASTM) to help with break down stubborn knots and adhesions. Shelley is always working to add to her skill set and modalities.

Shelley strives to provide the best quality of care to her clients via thorough therapeutic massage treatment. Your treatment may include postural assessment, orthopedic testing, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, swedish relaxation massage, IASTM and or joint mobilizations. She often provides clients with a program of home care stretches and exercises in order to promote the best possible healing.

Shelley moved from China to Kamloops in 2005 and completely fell in love with the city, the people, and the surrounding wilderness. She loves spending time with her husband and their 2 kids, exploring the outdoors and various sports and activities within the community; she also enjoys spending time with friends, working out at the gym, camping, boating and playing board games.

I am a registered clinical counsellor (#12070) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, and have 20 years of experience working with children, youth and families as an educator, and 10 years experience in counselling. I provide individual therapy for youth and adults and support them to open themselves to regain their strength and potential. I work collaboratively with client’s and respect their freedom and responsibility in the process.

We all experience pain, hardship and difficult life situations, and we often reach the point where it can feel unmanageable. I realize that it is not easy to reach out for support, and this takes courage and understanding. As a counsellor, I support clients to develop greater sense of self-awareness, tap into their strengths and resources, and navigate their thoughts and emotions to take on challenges and overcome them. Jen Laviolette was born and raised in Richmond, BC. She graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2004 and began practicing massage therapy in 2005. Before joining Clay Bank Massage, Jen practiced in multidisciplinary clinics in Kamloops, Grande Prairie and Richmond.

Jen’s goal as a massage therapist is to help reduce pain caused by muscular tension, injury, poor posture and other muscular and skeletal conditions. She also enjoys treating people who are committed to restoring and maintaining optimal health through massage therapy. Evan graduated from the massage therapy program at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy with a desire to help others recover from their injuries and physical discomforts. Evan believes in empowering patients through education and collaboration to help them in their journey towards recovery. Evan’s treatment includes discussion and assessment to determine immediate and long term healthcare goals.
